The Illinois State Fairgrounds is a well-known venue that hosts a variety of events throughout the year. It offers ample space for large gatherings, making it an ideal location for the Brick Convention. The fairgrounds are equipped with various facilities to accommodate attendees comfortably.
In terms of seating arrangements, the venue provides both general admission areas and designated seating sections. The best sections are typically those closer to the main stage or display areas, as they offer an unobstructed view of the exhibits and presentations. However, some areas further back may not provide the same level of engagement with the displays, making them less desirable for attendees seeking an immersive experience.
Parking options at the Illinois State Fairgrounds are plentiful, ensuring that attendees have convenient access to the event. Here are some parking options available:
The best parking option is the Main Lot located directly adjacent to the fairgrounds entrance at 801 E Sangamon Ave, Springfield, IL 62702. Prices currently start around $10 per day, providing easy access to the event without long walks.
While there are several parking options available, it is advisable to avoid street parking in nearby residential areas due to potential restrictions and limited availability. Opting for designated lots will ensure a smoother experience when attending the Brick Convention.
